Element Bespoke Jewellery Limited was established in the year 2000. Based in the heart of Birminghams historic Jewellery Quarter, and with over 60 years experience, element combines traditional manufacturing techniques with contemporary design.

element is one of the few remaining independant jewellery manufacturers left in the Jewellery Quarter. We specialise is bespoke jewellery and work to commission using certified diamonds, Platinum, 18ct Gold and Palladium.

Everything is hand made in out workshop. From initial design, to final collection, you can watch your piece of jewellery come to life. Every member of the element team has extensive experience in the design and production. We are here to help you.

Meet the team

DirectorJoe McGarr
Joe started his career in jewellery in 1985, working as an apprentice, hand-making jewellery at Greville Rossaters. After a number of years working in manufacturing, including for the locket makers Payton Peppers, Joe went self employed in 1997. In 2001 Joe established element, in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, and has never looked back!

DirectorGreg McLeary
Greg began his career in 1984, working for the jewellery manufacturers OJS Limited, model making and working in the design department. From this, Greg completed courses in diamond mounting and model making. Greg has worked for a number of companies including Swarovski and Gallery before finally finding his home here at element in 2001.

Hannah Kimber
Hannah has been working in the Jewellery Quarter for nearly 10 years. As well as working for a number of manufacturers, Hannah has completed an apprentiship in wax carving, a National Diploma in Jewellery and is currently studying for her BA (hons) degree in Design for Industry. Hannah joined element in January, 2010.

Lydia Feast
After completing her BA (hons) degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing, Lydia has established herself as a leading figure in the contemporary jewellery. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally and appeared in a number of publications. Lydia is due to complete her Masters degree in 2012. www.lydiafeast.co.uk

Les Pettit
The legend that is Les Pettit. Les has been working the jewellery industry for over 50 years, starting his career as a stone setting apprentice at Steel and Dolphin in 1960. Les has a number of national and international customers. We are lucky enough to have Les based here in our onsite workshop at element.
